1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GovLadder ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

GovLadder is a software-as-a-service platform that helps small businesses identify government certifications they may qualify for and tracks progress toward obtaining those certifications. GovLadder does not provide legal advice, guarantee certification approval, or act as an official government agency.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into contracts on behalf of your business to use the Service.

4. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@govladder.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

GovLadder Annual is a paid subscription at $499 per year, billed annually. Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize GovLadder to charge your payment method. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support@govladder.com within 14 days of purchase.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or scrape the Service
  • Share your account credentials with third parties
  • Submit false or misleading business information
  • Attempt to circumvent payment or access controls

7. Accuracy of Information

GovLadder provides certification matching based on information you provide and our certification database. We strive to keep this information accurate but do not warrant its completeness or timeliness. Always verify certification requirements with the relevant government agency before applying.

8. AI-Generated Content

GovLadder uses artificial intelligence to generate explanations, guidance, and document analysis. AI-generated content is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal or professional advice. You should not rely solely on AI-generated content for compliance decisions.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, software, and materials provided by GovLadder are owned by GovLadder or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. GOVLADDER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED WILL RESULT IN CERTIFICATION APPROVAL.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GOVLADDER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
